Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 2 slices halloumi cheese
  • 1-2 slices tomato
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the halloumi slices and fry for about 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once the halloumi is golden, drizzle honey over the cheese in the pan. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkle with chili flakes. Let cook for an additional 30 seconds, then remove from heat.
  • Toast the slice of bread to your liking.
  • Spread mayonnaise evenly over the toasted bread. Arrange the tomato slices on top, followed by the avocado slices. Sprinkle the avocado with salt and pepper.
  • Place the warm honey-chili halloumi slices on top of the avocado.
  • Enjoy your toast warm as a savory, slightly sweet breakfast or snack!
