Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 100 g tomato sauce
  • 150 g mozzarella grated
  • 150 g bacon sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 30 g Parmesan finely grated

Instructions

  • Prepare the base: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Unroll the puff pastry on a clean, flat surface.
  • Add the fillings: Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pastry, keeping a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella over the sauce, then layer the bacon evenly on top. Finish with freshly chopped parsley.
  • Roll and slice: Starting from one long side, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into evenly sized pinwheels.
  • Finish and bake: Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking tray. Brush each one with the beaten egg, then sprinkle Parmesan generously on top.Bake for 15–20 minutes, until puffed, golden brown, and irresistibly crisp.
