This cheesy garlic confit bread is made with sweet roasted garlic, melty mozzarella, and a drizzle of chili honey for the perfect balance of comfort and flavor. Easy to make, impossible to resist!

1 baguette halved lengthwise 1 head garlic (10–12 cloves) peeled 100 ml olive oil 3 tbsp unsalted butter, 40g softened 3 tbsp grated Parmesan, 30g 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 100g 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tbsp parsley chopped (plus extra for garnish) ½ tsp chili flakes ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper 2 tsp chili honey
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) . Place garlic cloves in an ovenproof dish, cover with olive oil, and roast for 30–35 minutes , until soft and golden.
Mash roasted garlic into a paste. Stir in butter, Parmesan, parsley, brown sugar, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Increase oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) . Spread garlic butter on baguette halves, sprinkle with Parmesan, and top with mozzarella.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
Drizzle with chili honey, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
