Golden toast, sweet garlic confit, creamy burrata, and a hint of honey and chili—this is the kind of simple recipe that feels fancy but is so easy to make at home.
Make the garlic confit: Preheat oven to 170 °C -180 °C (340 °F–355 °F). Place peeled garlic cloves in a small baking dish with rosemary and 4 tbsp olive oil. Cover with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes, until garlic is soft and golden.
Toast the bread: Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Toast the bread until golden and crisp on both sides.
Assemble the toast: Spread about 5 cloves of the garlic confit onto the bread. Top with torn pieces of burrata.
Add remaining garlic: Spoon the rest of the garlic confit over the burrata.
Finish with flavor: Drizzle honey over the top, then sprinkle with sea salt and chili flakes. Serve immediately.
