Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch fresh radishes washed and trimmed
  • 1 spring onion finely sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili crisp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Place the radishes on a cutting board and gently smash each one with a kitchen mallet or the flat side of a chef’s knife until just cracked but still intact.
  • Transfer the smashed radishes into a clean glass jar.
  • Add the spring onion, garlic, sesame oil, chili crisp oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, lime juice, and sesame seeds directly into the jar.
  • Seal the jar tightly and shake well until the radishes are evenly coated.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.
  • Shake again before serving and enjoy straight from the jar or poured into a serving bowl.
